Discrimination through Classism Initially, we were apprehensive about working on the topic of classism. It made us uncomfortable. This is why it was important that we did. Classism exists inside our homes. Refusing to see it does not make it disappear. The purpose of using non-human objects was to give a fresher lens to view the absurdity of bigotry through. There is an inherent attitude that people of the lower classes, lower castes, and Dalits do not deserve safety, hygiene, and comfort. This comic aims to portray the unease and rejection seen in conversations about people with lesser rights and privilege deserving the bare minimum.
My body as a medium. It is, to express a journey of the self, taking my body as a medium. Here as a part of my personal project and as a forever learner in this river called life. The emotional map of my temple: torso expressing the breakthrough, and neck above the outcome which is a sense of fearlessness and stillness.
Sidewalk Life Where everything is an uncertainty, except a strong will to survive — thanks to persistency and perseverance. I have always been a keen observer when it comes to understanding people and what makes them believe in their social and cultural values. Often, I find an urge to observe what it's like to see the world wearing someone else's shoes. My journey focusses on documenting our truths and fears, and how they are so different yet easily relatable.
